Patio Days Spring 2010

This Spring and Summer we experienced something amazing. We had a robin's nest right outside MooMoo's bathroom window, and in that nest were new eggs. Yes, we were able to watch the little family grow. We saw the eggs hatch, the parents feeding, the babies grow feathers and even beginning to fly. This was an absolute beautiful drama we all became engrossed in. 

To give you some perspective on the view. The nest is just above MooMoo.


And this is the first little guy to fly.

We say goodbye to our robin family as the last one leaves the nest.

Through all this, MooMoo built a new patio. Here's Johnnie Mac enjoying some music time on the bricks he helped put in place. Garnet (SO long ago, now) getting into it with Johnnie.
