Well, it has been COLD out. We're all stuck in the house.
Luckily, Lydia is a crack up, truly an angel and allowed to make all the messes she needs to get by. To Lydia's great delight, we don't even brush her hair until almost bed time on some days. We put a tent in the livingroom for Lydia to enjoy. We've been in and out of there for days, listening to the wild animals surrounding it ("mama, was that noise? souns like a woof - ow-ow-aoooo.", "souns like a owl - hoo-hoo-hoo."), jumping and spinning in it, sleeping and eating in it... Lydia has even used it as her own, self-enforced "time out". The few times we've bumped heads and had to discipline her for not listening or being too rough around Garnet she's run right into her tent to pout and pretend it never happened. Jess brought Lydia some Play-Doh which has been a great activity each day. Lydia shreds every color into tiny bits, mixes them up, says "I makin' money." or "I makin a dragon..." and the we re-separate every bit, pack back into each container and dump them out again. Thanks, Jess. No, really, it IS good time spent.

And Garnet Ace. He is growing and changing. At his 3-week weigh in he had gained 2 lbs (then 9lbs 5oz) and grew an inch (then 21 1/2"). Pretty substantial and impressive for 2 weeks. He is much more awake and adorable and expressive and gassy. He seems to truly enjoy when Lydia is around, he lights up to be near her. Even if I'm just imagining it, I stand by it.

Some sweet and silly moments of the two together. Lydia breaks my heart. She's my hero and I'm the luckiest.

MooMoo spent some time helping me with the two bundles while Chaunce was at Nicky's bachelor party. More tent time and some snuggling on the couch. These moments and pictures remind me of nostalgic times. xxxooo
Lydia is just chillin while I MAKE her talk to me.
She wants to be a... Mailman?
